Conservative strategy

It works by placing very low bets, or the minimum offered by the game, and setting up some mines on the board. You can play with just a single mine hidden among the 25 blocks, meaning the risk is minimal.

• Play with between 1 and 3 mines on the board
• Make multiple moves in the same round
• Be patient to accumulate gains little by little

The disadvantage of this Mines pattern strategy is that it takes time to realize any considerable gains, so patience is the big secret. As the initial gains are small, even with few mines on the board and low risk, you need to make several moves in a row. All in all, this is a Mines strategy for very patient players, who prefer to play without taking big risks and avoiding considerable losses.

Aggressive strategy

Also one of the best strategy for Mines, this is a tactic for experienced players with good bankroll management, as the risk level is high. Similar to the previous one, this Mines gambling strategy is based on the number of mines distributed across the board, as the more mines, the greater the risk and bigger the multiplier. Players who prefer quick rounds, with few moves and total focus on big wins are the type of player that adopts aggressive tactics. 

See some examples of how to apply this approach:

• With 13 mines: the board has 25 blocks, so if you adjust the number of mines on the board to 13, the chances of success are practically balanced. Playing this way is almost a “flip or tail”, with a 50% chance of being right or wrong.
• From 14 to 19 mines: With this, even if you hit just one or two stars, the winnings will be considerable, because of the high multiplier.
• With 20 mines: 20 mines on the board is the maximum amount allowed in the game setting. You only have five safe blocks, with stars, everything else is a bomb! The chance of making a mistake is very high, but on the other hand, make the right move and you can generate very significant gains.

Tips to remember when using the aggressive strategy:

• Never risk more than you are prepared to lose!
• You don’t need to maintain an aggressive strategy every round in your gaming session. Intercalate, don’t risk everything in every round. Depending on your planning, one or two successes will be enough to offset your investment.

Risk Control Strategy

Often referenced as the Mines best strategy, this is a well-balanced approach and can be ideal for both more conservative players and those who like to take risks, as everything depends on the amount bet, with a low level of risk. 

Instead of looking for very high multipliers that require a lot of plays, the focus of this strategy is to place higher bets and end the round early.

• Choose the low risk level, between 1 and 5 mines on the board.
• Bet higher amounts as the multiplier will be lower due to the low level of risk.
• Withdraw early, try to do so after finding one or two stars, before the risk increases.

Some examples of how to apply this approach:

• Player A bets INR20 and ends the round with a 1.5x multiplier, winning INR30 (INR20 x 1.5).
• Player B bets INR5, but seeks a 3x multiplier, and wins INR15 (INR5 x 3).

They both made a profit, but player A took less risk because he cashed out earlier. And yet, they won more than player B, in absolute value. 

This strategy can be analyzed in two ways: if we look at the absolute number, player A won more with less risk. But if we look at the winning percentage, player B had a greater profit, even though the amount of money was smaller.

Therefore, carefully analyze your goals as a player before adopting one strategy or another. 

1. Increasing the number of moves

1. Before starting the round, define the maximum number of moves you will make.
2. Set the bet and adjust the number of mines on the board.
3. Start the round and don’t end the bet after finding the first star, keep playing until you reach the maximum number of moves you defined before the start of the round. 
4. If you manage to reach the maximum number of plays set, withdraw your winnings and, in the next round, increase this number.

2. Increasing the number of mines

1. Set a fixed number of plays and a bet amount.
2. Choose the number of mines.
3. After a few rounds (every 3, for example), increase the number of mines on the board.

Example: Play the first 3 rounds with 5 mines, then increase to 7, and if you continue to be lucky, increase to 10. You increase the risk, but also the multiplier and potential winnings.

3. Increasing the bet value

• Define the number of bombs and the fixed number of moves before starting the round and gradually increase the bet value.

Example: In the first 3 rounds, bet INR5, and as you gain confidence, gradually increase it to INR10 or INR20. Even if you keep the multipliers low by cashing out early, the wins start to become more significant over time.
